Jaime’s experience is vast, ranging from employee benefit plan audits, management advisory services, audits, reviews, compilations, bookkeeping, and personal and business tax services. As a founding Shareholder of The Highlands Accounting Group, she specializes in employee benefit plan audits, construction, manufacturing companies, and not-for- profit entities. She has lived and worked in the Birmingham area since 1995 and has almost 20 years of dedicated public accounting experience.
Her colleagues and clients would describe Jaime as personable, passionate, and enthusiastic. She is diligent and hard-working and always has her clients’ best interest at heart. Jaime’s father owned a construction company and a horse farm where she worked alongside her family. With the guidance of her father’s company bookkeeper and other mentors, Jaime discovered her love of accounting. Through this experience, she established a great work ethic that remains with her today.
Jaime is willing to go the extra mile for her clients. During her career, Jaime has helped multiple companies work through their retirement plan operational errors and file under the Voluntary Fiduciary Corrections Program resulting in good standing with the Department of Labor.
Jaime grew up in Cullman, Alabama, and now resides in Hoover with her fire-fighter/paramedic husband, Nathan, and their daughter, Ellie. Her family is actively involved and members of Valleydale Church in Birmingham. In her free time, she enjoys photography, reading, and CrossFit. Jaime and Nathan are passionate about adoption, birth-mother ministry and God’s work to complete families through adoption.
“He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother.”
